Don't let them treat you like you're unimportant. Their job is to ensure your comfort and assist you when you need it and doing otherwise they can get into a lot of trouble. it's considered neglect especially If you've been waiting 2 hours. They can get in trouble for that

@marleas.mommy, nurse said she wanted to wait it out to see if it got any better I said I want to talk to the doctor now...finally got too and now they are doing blood work, urine, and if it comes back different or high they will be inducing me today...

@marleas.mommy, they tried giving me a really strong pain killer denied that in a heart beat! I don't do well with pain killers :/ that and I believe the body has pain for a reason to tell you something is wrong taking that away I might not notice it then

Good for you momma, you have the right to refuse treatment and they can't force anything on you if you don't want it. my mom didn't know that until I told her so she was being stuck with needles in her stomach for a while for a blood thinner until I told her and she finally told them no and they couldn't give it to her anymore

right! you are the only one who knows how YOUR body reacts to certain medications. they only know what the medicine is supposed to do. For all they know you could be allergic to it

Is you white blood cell count high? cause that could be a sign of an infection

@marleas.mommy, that's what I said but the doctor isn't looking into it...she's not my doctor is on call at 7 tonight so I'm going to be suffering for the 4 1/2 hours cuz they doctor won't do shit and this nurse isn't even telling her everything that's wrong! My swelling is heir getting worse! My headache is worse, my blurry vision is worse...and k can't get rid of this heart burn!

Are you able to call your doctor? like contact her through the office?

That's right, I forgot it was sunday.. Is the doctor you're seeing an OB or just a normal doctor?

@marleas.mommy, ob I've been In labor and delivery since Friday...said if things gets worse they would induce me but this on call doctor refuses to call my doctor and is going against her orders completely I just want my doctor to talk to! I know she would do something!

Tell that doctor if she doesn't get a hold of yours that you are gonna go to the head of the hospital for neglect. that should kick their butts in gear! If they continue to neglect your wishes and your doctor's orders they will get into a lot of trouble

They need to take care you, that's why you're there. They can't just say nothings wrong when they can't feel your pain or even check things out.. but I hope all gets better and let me know how everything goes :)
