SERIOUS QUESTION: Why do we heat the babies bottles when bottle feeding? Why can't we give it to them room temp?

I dont understand why some people let their toddlers still drink from baby bottles? Proper baby bottles? Just rounds off and knackers their teeth so younger years teeth ruined for sake of not making sure they use a more age suited cup / beaker ect. Or is it just me
