So I have issues sleeping and the new nurse came in woke me up to tell me they are switching when it clearly says not to…

@emeliaday, I did 20 minutes ago....nothing literally haven't heard a damn word I asked for another nurse to talk to then and I'm the only one here at labor and delivery too and still haven't seen another person

@sharonpaige13, blurry vision and severe headache not touched by pain meds with preeclampsia. Tell the nurse you want to speak to your doc or the doctor on call.

@emeliaday, I ate and got horrible heart burn (lucky me) I'm still dizzy, headache, and I can't see crap! I can't sleep...and i have horribke allergies so Benadryl doesn't even touch me lol and my face is flushed and this nurse doesn't even seem to give to shits right now! She just wants me to take a stronger pain medicine and I don't like take stronger pain the way they make me feel is awful I rather be hurting....but I just want to cry because this nurse isn't doing crap!

@sharonpaige13, eat something - when I was in the hospital they gave me a dose of something like Benedryl that was way stronger and knocked me out.

@emeliaday, I honestly can't sleep!!! lol took the Tylenol but I don't know of that'll help the dizziness :( it's whats causing my headache

Have you eaten? Take the Tylenol and if it doesn't help at all tell them. Try to take a nap too.

@emeliaday, I said something to the nurse she didn't seem to concerned and asked if I wanted Tylenol...

@sharonpaige13, make sure to make that clear to the nurse. Make sure they know you have that now because if they start you on Mag Sulfate that's stuff they watch for so if you have it before that starts they should note it.

@emeliaday, blood pressure is looking good (: but def feel better about having him!!!! Just getting concerned because I'm sitting in bed and got extremely dizzy then an extremely sharp pain in my head and felt like I was about to pass out and my blood pressure is fine :(

@sharonpaige13, if you have had steroids and are 36 weeks he will be just fine. They told me my little guy was maybe 6 lbs when they did the ultrasound and when I had him 3 days later he was 8.3. Try not to stress, it will just raise your blood pressure and they will nag you more! :).

He will be just fine .... A lot of babies measure too big or to small they thought mine was 8lbs he was 7.4

Well on a side note ur in the perfect place to have him and ur 36 weeks he will be perfect no matter what .. The worst feeling is when ur so dead tired and they give u a sleeping pill and u can't sleep still it's a like level of drugged I can't stand ... I'd tell ur morning nurse to please tell the night nurse to please not wake u to let u know another nurse is coming in that's so rude

@emeliaday, I just want him healthy and me healthy to go home right away and everything to be okay! Like atleast one more week and I think I'd feel better!

@10yearslater0205, lol your fine! I hate taking sleeping pills but I've been so tired lately that i just said yes to it and been denying pain pills for my head ache and contractions lol they were a little confused on that one

@sharonpaige13, I had preeclampsia and was induced at 36 weeks. My boy was huge, 8 lbs 3 oz. we got sent home 3 days after he was born but then I got readmitted to the ICU 2 days later with post partum eclampsia and pulmonary edema. My blood pressure went up to 208/114 while on blood pressure meds. It was super scary. As much as they irritated me by waking me up I saw why they were doing it. I felt fine but my blood pressure was high enough to cause a seizure. I'm a single mom and that really scared me.

Yeah boys they like full term .. Makes sense .. I had my son at 39 weeks he was fine my friend had hers at 36 weeks he spent 5 days in nicu and step down so I get that ... Well hopefully u can go home soon can't they give u a med to take at home ? What are u on

@emeliaday, right??? Like isn't my blood pressure the worry??? I just want sleep! Let me sleep!!! Fact you have to give me sleeping pills to help me sleep but keep waking me up is horrible!! And I just want to go home :(

@10yearslater0205, he's actually measuring behind according to the last ultrasound which is s cause from the preeclampsia:( which I didn't know could hurt him like that. But they gave me steroid shots for his lungs to develop and want him at full term even though technically he is in length he isn't in weight so Monday they want to have a day to pick out to induce me

Ur 37 weeks though tell them take the baby??!!! With my first at my 36 wee dr appt I got pre clamptic I had a NST for Monday but they sent me home Friday and my water broke sat at 37 weeks thank god they were gonna take her anyway .. Being in bed won't help that labor one quicker .. So what are they gonna do

@sharonpaige13, I was on bed rest for 2 weeks before they induced me and they wouldn't let me go home either. Doc said blood pressure can go downhill too fast to risk it. But I swear I never got more than 2 hours of sleep per night because they were always taking vitals or something. I started out mommyhood so exhausted.

@10yearslater0205, yes I'm at bed rest :( funny cuz my blood pressure went down so I'm like can I go home! My doctor looked at me said your blood pressure is down because your on bed rest...I let you go home chances are you'll be right back in that bed with it high again! You don't know how to sit still lol

Ugh that's crap... U on bedrest? When I was on bedrest I was there 5 months 🙄 they hardly bothered me :) get them to bring u their coffee and creamer 😂 I be friended one nurse and she would bring it to me every morning lol

@mazeyy09, makes me mad when it clearly says not to wake me!! Considering they upped my sleeping pill cuz I wouldn't sleep! Like I slept normally with waking up every now and then....just stupid...I'm ready to go home!

They did that the whole time I was there they barely let me sleep.. smh
