We have a really bad cat that absolutely drives me crazy. He's super destructive. The only problem…

Is he fixed?

Cat toys, and spending 20 minutes with him playing will help get his energy out so he'll be more calm and not as destructive.

@fg2chelsea, yes. He's always been this way, even as a kitten. We got him fixed in hopes it would help but it hasnt

Scratch posts, honestly a cardboard box with a toy in it can be endless fun for a cat and get energy out.

Just have to find out what he likes, my cat likes the toys on the end of a stretchy string and stick and it wears him out good :)

@fg2chelsea, I bought him one and he won't use it! I've tried cat nip too. He likes to sit in boxes but that's it. He's a crazy cat, I'm telling you! He will run through the house and jump 6 feet up the wall and hang there by his claws

And you don't have to spend crazy money on cat posts or anything, Pinterest is awesome for diy cat posts and trees! If he's clawing the furniture, a thick double sided sticky tape where he's clawing will teach him not too!

Put a carpet on the wall, and he'll go up and down it and should only go on that if its there. Spray bottles work too, with water. My cat learned after maybe 5 times getting sprayed if I even went to grab the bottle he ran away

@fg2chelsea, we tried the spray bottles :( no luck. Carpet may be our only hope with him
