it can come back at any time, there isnt a specific time to get it. and the breast feeding part is partially true... the longer you breastfeed, the shorter and off time your period is.

I breast feed and I still got my period, it just made it lighter and shorter

I'm exclusively breastfeeding and I still got mine at about 7 weeks postpartum

@eswitzer31, @hhmariah @kmhicksyy thank you, I guess I was misinformed lol and yes I got mine at 5 weeks at first I was thinking it wasn't a period and I don't get cramps lol

My midwife told me before I left the hospital that just because I was breast feeding didn't mean that I couldn't get pregnant again, that it doesn't stop your cycle

Yeah see I was told I won't see a period but I'll still be ovulating so I can get pregnant @eswitzer31
