I loved the depo shot wish I could get on it again but it made my hair fall out. I would prefer the weight gain side effects over hair loss😔

Depo isn't safe at all especially for colored people. It causes blood clots weight gain hair lost and a lot more things. It's the reason I'm such a difficult time during my pregnancy. The best option is Skyla if you have to get one. It's a 3 year birth control and they also have 5 and 10 year versions as well. Every birth control will have bad reviews but the safest is one of the T shape choices.

IUD's are great but depending on your insurance you may have to pay a lot of money for them, because they're elective.
