At what age did you let your baby sleep in your bed without some sort of co sleeper/pillow whatever? Our baby currently sleeps fine in his crib. But I enjoy morning snuggles (he let's us sleep in late if I pull him into our bed at about 6am after feeding and changing). Right now hubs and I are putting him in a Bobby and facing him. (I'm scared he'll fall off the Boppy or something)
And what sort of co-sleeping systems have you used with newborns/babies.
AND GO!
yes! whatever feels right for you :)
@michellevaldez4750, I think families should do whatever works for them. My baby sleeps great in his crib so I'm not going to disrupt that but I do enjoy having him with me in the morning.
My kids still sleep with me and they're 7 and 9 lol. I really do love cuddling with my kids. I know there will come a day when they won't want to anymore so I enjoy it while it lasts and idc what ppl have to say about it lol
honestly I did it right away with my daughter, I know you're not supposed to but I'm a super light sleeper and I also stay in one position all night so I was never worried. plus I only did that for naps, not for the whole night. with my other kids probably not too much longer.
Yep! It's instinct. We have a guard rail on my side of the bed and I'm on the other side of her so she's safe :)
I go in the middle so he doesn't roll on her. I don't move an inch in my sleep because I'm so aware of her.
@frozenessence, do you use anything to keep baby safe or just in the bed?
ever since he was a week old. he stated in chop for a week after birth. i have a crib but feel better with him next to me
@mamesey, I'm way to nervous to have my newborn roll around without some sort of protection. My husband has already almost rolled on top of baby. I wouldn't mind co sleeping but my husband is super against it. So I compromise by having baby with us in the morning.
I have always co-slept. My baby slept in my hospital bed with me all 3 days. I had a cosleeper in our bed for the first week but she refused to sleep in it after that. So at a week old she came directly into our bed :) 7 months old now. Still cosleep
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
