When did all you ladies start a routine with your little ones? I'm trying so hard but he's going through a growth spurt and is taking 4oz every 2 hours so the routine isn't working, is it too early?! He's 3 weeks on Wednesday! He normally wakes between 5-7am and sleeps for 2 hours at 12-2/2.30pm and that's him until 7-8pm after a bath and massage, up again at 11-12 for his last feed and occasionally, not always, he'll wake up at 3-4am for a feed and nappy change then he'll sleep again until 5-7 am! But I've found he's over tired as he goes 5-6 hours during the day fighting his sleep, am I best just to let him do as he pleases just now then introduce a routine at a later date?
need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
Mommas who are separated from their childrens dad. If my sons father is to get our son every other Friday-Sunday, but then tells me halfway through the week he can't take him Friday until Saturday due to taking up an optional shift at work, can I legally tell him he either takes him Friday at his ordered time or doesn't get him? He's constantly cancelling whole weekends or taking our son a quarter of his ordered time. He also isn't following the meets on the order. Almost every Sunday he has him I get a message that he doesn't have a car so I have to get my son, or he tells me i have to run him out there. I'm already having cut hours at work and getting no child support from him since he's been continuously in and out of work.
I work night shift, 6pm till 2am or later. My boyfriend works days, so he's gone when the kids get up. That puts me getting up early with the kids. I'm so over tired there are days that I can't function. I'm thinking about quitting. Letting my boyfriend go back to working 2 jobs (he likes it better that way). But that puts him not being home at all and me being home all the time. But he'll be happier and I'll have more sleep. I'm just not sure what to do. There's down sides with either choice.
Do you think it’s selfish to want to work opposites shifts and leave the kid/kids with your s/o, husband, child’s father when he works 12 hour shifts? I really want to work away from the home a few days a week. He doesn’t want to use a sitter or day care so I would have to work opposite shifts. He works 7pm-7am in the navy. He never has the same days off at the hospital because they work rotating shifts. Thing is he deploys yearly so idk how it would work when he is gone but for now I was thinking I could work a few days a week. I kinda feel like I’m asking a lot and being selfish. Idk.

My oldest never slept good, still doesn't hes 12.. I exclusively breastfed him, he'd wake up just about ever hour to nurse, he had a pacifier which helped a bit. Its hard to keep a infant that small on a good routine, they're still getting used to the outside world. My daughter sleeps well, she is also breastfed but slept through the night since 6 weeks... Maybe its just a phase. Formula is a bit heavier, it keeps them full longer, maybe give him a bottle before bed to hold him over longer? My daughter just started having formula when im working, I cant keep my supply up as much but im still nursing when im with her
