birth control. ...pills vs injection..what is your experience ?

The shot got me so fat!!! I lose weight everytime i get my period so not getting it ever was fucking me up. So now im on a low hormone birth control

I forget to take the pills everyday so that didn't work for me and I haven't tried anything else yet.
