I have a 3 year old step daughter and i'm currently 22 weeks pregnant with a little girl, my step daughter is maybe a bit too young to understand that she is going to have a sister in a couple of months but I really want to involve her and get her excited so when the baby is here she doesn't feel left out or unloved! anyone experienced this or know what to do??
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
Dad's FB Video!! Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!
I hate my generation sometimes ? Today was my nieces baby shower, which went great. She got so much which amazing since she's been working 2 jobs trying to save up for the unpaid leave she'll have to take from work. Anyways I was talking to one of the ladies there since my son and her daughter were playing together. I asked her what her daughters name was, she said it was Layla. I told her that's a really pretty name and asked her if she was a Clapton fan and if she was named after the song. This girl had no idea who Eric Clapton is. ? ♀ One of the most iconic songs, and she had no idea. I hate my generation. ?
FTM problems... So I've made it pretty clear that I want to buy my daughter her fist Halloween costume. Her babysitter/nanny keeps saying she wanted to make her one. I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. It's making me sad. Like I wish I could quit my job and be home with her.

A friend of mine brought her little girl a dolly so when the baby arrives mum has her baby and molly had her doll. When it was time to feed mum asked molly to get her doll so they could feed together, she had mini bottles and nappies. Was very cute!! Molly was not quite 3 xx

I have a 3 year old daughter and am pregnant with my second daughter now, I just keep telling her how much she can help me when her sister comes and how she will be the big girl, she keeps telling me how much she loves the baby and can't wait for her to be here so I think talking about it a lot has helped her understand and feel part of everything xx

Maybe take her out shopping to get a present for the baby :) Does she like dolls? Maybe you can get a present for her from the baby :) x
