Carry around crackers or plain Cheerios and drink plenty of water... Eat something before you even get out of bed. Morning sickness is something I definitely do not miss... Throwing up bile because there's nothing in your stomach sucks.

Your OB should be able to call in a script and save you a trip to the ER

@ldefinitely sucks... i pulled a muscle in my back from dry heaving so hard. i definitely am ready for this to be over so i can enjoy my baby.

@phinnybinz, i have my first doctors appointment next week so i dont have an OB as of right now. thats why i would need to go to the ER.

Oooh, makes sense. I hate the ER so I'm always looking for ways to avoid it at all costs ☺️

Some will if you have no idea how far along you are...You might need to brush up on the acting skills! 😉

I think this depends what state you are in. ....they may give you an ultrasound but just to verify gestation of pregnancy, I too am here in Florida & they didn't let me see at all nor print an image. The ER might not give you anything for nausea, unless you get to see an OB but since you aren't 20+ weeks chances are you will just see whoever is on staff... but your doctor will, the newest thing they give now is: diclegis. I just went through that a few weeks ago. when I was in 2 different states my experiences were totally different. good luck!

until then I say eat "sour patch kids" I ate 2/3 every 30 mins until I was able to see my doc to get the diclegis, ..it sucked but worked temporarily I couldn't keep anything down
