Quick question ladies when they check your cervix do they use that big clamp thingy that opens up inside of you to look I'm just wondering cause I'm a ftm & I just wanted to know what I should prepare myself for when I get there

Nah they used their blasted finger and dig up to find the bloody cervix ugh talk about feeling violated 😫

They used the speculum on me when checking at the Obgyn but did it manually at the hospital

not usually. u can acutely feel your own cervix if u tried. so it's not that far up there. :)

You'll just feel a lot of pressure but nothing to worry about @egates

My doc told me it should only be used if there are concerns like infection to take a culture if not it should always be fingers @egates
