It's your choice hun but maybe because this is your first child your probably feeling so sensitive and u don't know what's best I was the same with my first but tbh they are babies they are going to catch colds and be sick ect

My little boy was passed around unless he was asleep then he stayed in he's Moses basket and know one got him out except he's dad and my mum (I had no say 😂😂) my friend wrapped her kids up in cotton wool and now there 5 and 2 and always sick because she never allowed them to be in contact with germs my sons nearly 4 and he's never poorly I think it's good to build up there immune system when there young xx

If people have colds. They should know not to be around a newborn :) When my family got colds I didn't let them near my daughter :) xx

They could be in the same room but i didn't let them hold her or anything :)

@jodiec I agree its good for their immune system :) I've only been sick once in my life :) But I wouldn't want my newborn to get a cold :) A few months old is fine :)

I'm so glad you've posted this! My OH has a large family and all of them are telling me they want to come and see my little girl when she is born, as in within the first few days and I'm kind of like well no, I don't want her being passed from piller to post that young, glad I'm not the only one xxx

I felt like this aswell. Totally natural to feel that way. Thankfully people took the initiative to let us be for a while as a family before they came round. Xx
