Roughly how many nappies per day do new norms go through? & how long did your new born stay in size 1? I'm about to…

I guess it all depends on how big your bubs is as to what size to get. I stocked up loads on size 1 because I knew he was a small baby due to early induction. But saying that he grew put of them very quickly so don't stock up too much x

Like @suzie31 said, it's good to stock up but not too much because some babies can grow quite quickly. On average my son used about 8 nappies per day, sometimes more, sometimes less when he was first born. Mine didn't gain weight properly so he was in size 1 for quite a bit longer than most babies. I've known some people whose babies have been in the next size up within weeks x

Maya was in Size one for about 4 weeks :) She is now in Size 3 at 4 months old :) Hmm she has about 3/4 dirty nappies aday :) and lots of wet ones :) x

I bought a no2 straight away as it's 6lb up I may just take a no1 small bag of nappies to hospital

Thank you ladies @winterbaby95 @hrbn2 @suzie31 i bought one box (72) of size 1 and will buy 1 size two if he still needs size 1 I will replace it as & when so I don't end up with too many size one. Next on my list is wipes, cotton wool etc

@sweetsesame I've used cotton wool and warm water on Maya since she was born :) Tesco and Asda do good cotton wool :)
