So when my son Cord fall off what do I clean it it with ???

when it falls off you can give him a bath and use baby soap. before it falls off, use rubbing alcohol to clean around it

His doctor told me not to put anything on it

clean the sides of it with peroxide. make sure it's not wet and keep it dry. and don't let him cry for long or he will develop a hernia.

I didn't clean it with anything when my daughter's fell off. Just left it alone yeah I took her a bath but I gently dried it with her towel carefully. Other than that I left it alone to heal by itself.

I was told not to put anything on it and my son started to smell like rotting flesh so I started putting alcohol on it and it kept it from smelling and healed fine:)

I don't know... I don't think the Drs agree on the subject. I've been told different things. But I'll be using alcohol from the beginning for any future babies that is for sure! It was so gross!!! @ktwins188

well idk but mines told me too well I guess by the way your son look probably that's why he said not too my twins didn't look like that at all

With both my kids I was told from two different Drs to not put anything on it and let it dry by itself just pat dry with gauze
