So this whole no sex until 6 weeks after birth is already killing me and my boyfriend. We've both always had a really high sex drive and this wait is like torture. Not even 2 weeks postpartum yet.

I was still healing a lot and exhausted.. we waited longer than 6wks.
I had sex at 1 week pp. but then again wasn't long to climax either.
I've never waited that long bad and against recommendations but hey I guess this is why this is #6😜
I'm 4 weeks PP and me and my husband and having issue not having sex Lol I keep thinking ohh it will be OK but then I'm scared it will hurt Lol..
I had a high sex drive (I'm talking like 9 times a day) before but my first time having sex after the baby hurt so bad we couldn't even finish having sex. It took about 10 tries before we full on had sex. And 7 months later my body gets tense every time we try to have sex because of how painful it was. It sucks. My recommendation is buy a ton of lube so you don't end up like me lol
Me and my husband couldn't wait. We had sex 11 days PP. At my six week check up last Friday my doctor asked me if I had sex told her yeah and she didn't even care.

Dr advice is always best everyone is different with healing and your actually sex drive!! I was tired like all but I'm tired with kids , 2 jobs housework,etc we just did it lol good luck but I agree that you should probably listen to your health professionals @cmbwalker
