@esmylugo, I felt the same way! It's something I enjoy doing ( tanning at the beach or pool ) so I didn't want to give it up just because they say it's " bad for the baby" but it honestly can't hurt the baby....he or she is inside you so as long as you keep your insides regular and cool baby should be fine.
I have multiple times , you're more likely to get a bad burn so use spf ,don't stay out too long or just go in every 10-15 minutes ,keep super hydrated too with ice water . It's super humid in the coming months so be super careful I was lucky to get a breeze through the spring!
