Went to hospital last night with what my partner and I thought were contractions as they were quite severe and relatively close and consistent. Started at 20 mins apart, to 10, to 8 then got to 5. Got everything checked out and my cervix was still closed and tested to see if it was the start of labour but it came back negative. Doctors gave me panadiene forte for the pain which helped heaps although contractions were still happening but they were happy to send me home.

Has anyone had like a kind of false labour like this? If so, what happened in the following days? Should I still be worried that I could go into labour in the coming days/weeks? 😟
