I'm so nervous about my induction 🙈 anyone had an induction here ? Not sure what to expect really!
I was a week ago. The propez (I think it's called) did nothing so went home for 24 hours and back the next day for the gel. Only needed the first does, could feel things happening almost right away and was in labour about 3 hours later. Labour lasted about 14 hours. I've heard that it makes the contractions stronger but I have nothing to compare it to so not sure if this was the case with me. Think it could be if you have the drip but don't worry to much about that as everyone is different. Best of luck you'll have your baby soon 😍
I got induced but it took 2 attempts.. The first attempt gave me what they called prostin pains.. (As they were caused by the drug they gave me to set me off) the second attempt (6 hours later) worked & I was in active labour 7 hours.. They put my on a drip to regulate my contractions but I ended up getting contractions on top of contractions so they gave me the epidural.. Don't worry tho as soon as I got him out the pain was forgotten and I was absolutely fine.. Went to a family BBQ the next day 😂😂 xx
I was induced and I was in labour for around 20 hours with my little girl. nothing to worry about 😊you will be fine. Good luck xx
I was induced at 40 + 5 days due to reduced movements. The contractions do come quick and strong, but it doesn't make labour any shorter haha I was 13.5 hours in labour and had to end up getting rushed to theatre for an emergency c section of emergency foreceps didn't work, which thankfully did! .. Not all inductions are like mine though, my friend was 8 hours since the induction began and 4 hours of labour x
I've heard the contractions come quicker and stronger :) Making labour shorter I believe :) Sometimes inductions can fail though :) So they may just let you go naturally instead :) But whatever the outcome hun :) You'll be fine! You'll be meeting your baby soon xx
Update
Today my blood pressure was 158/94 and 140/101 for the second reading so they called the hospital to tell them I'll be on my way for induction. Currently sitting at my house just freaking out but about to head to the hospital.

Thank you all so much! It would seem like everyone's experience is totally different so I suppose I'll just have to relax for now and take it as it comes once the process has begun! I'm so excited but so nervous too. It's insane to think that I'll have my bubba this time next week 😍😍 @winterbaby95 @linzi_duffie @stephanie2015 @laurenn @angie87
