My son was fussy about it and he was constipated when we first did solids. I gave him gerber rice cereal with fruit I blended. Then I figured out I was doing it all wrong. I use Earth's Best multi grain or oatmeal cereal now. I keep the peel on fruits but I bake or steam it til soft and purée with the hand held stick blender which makes it finer than my standing blender. I switch up variety often now. The extra fiber from multi grain and the skin of the fruit, as well as different varieties helps his constipation. He doesn't like drinking water, btw
