Medicaid will provide a breast pump right away. WIC told me they will provide one a month after birth bc they encourage only breast feeding for that initial period. Any mommies NOT need to use a pump right away? Just curious.

calling all mommies who are breast feeding or excessively pumping .. how did you all do it ?? I know some people pump right in the hospital day 1 !! I know my hospitals here allows you to pump from day 1 and breast feed at the same time they just give you a breast consultant to explain and show you how so you don’t mess up and get a over supply to soon . Some people only breast feed for awhile than pump 1/2 later . Some only pump period ... what’s your method and how successful are you ?? And how tough was it in the beginning ??

My doc doesn't provide pumps anymore I guess. when I asked for one they gave me a number to call

I don't plan on using mine for the first two weeks to a month to regulate my supply but after that daddy is gonna have to help with the feeding so I'm always gonna have bottles on deck

I used mine to relieve some pain bc my breasts were so full but that's it. He's strictly breast fed for now until I go back to work
