It took mine a few extra days to come in too. See if the hospital has a pump you can use. Or get on a pump somehow. It'll help to get it going. Also eat some oatmeal or oatmeal cookies. They make a big difference
Oh okay I've been pumping but nothing comes out when she nurses though she get what she needs I just can't wait to see my milk lol @valrocks I've been pumping like If I was getting milk though. I'm gonna try the oatmeal and cookies I want milk!!! lol
It's take 3 or more days to get past the colostrum which it just a tiny amount. It took my milk almost a full week to come in and then only the right side was productive. Left side took like 3 more days after that. And it's still making less than the other side.
ohhh okay see I didn't know that could happen @valrocks @bianca_rose I'm trying but I had a c section and she has been in the nursery so getting down there to nurse every two hours is hard but when I'm not in too much pain I go down
I had a C also and my heart was giving me issues so I had to have an ekg I couldn't breast feed for more than 24 hours. And then after that my body was healing itself and not focused on producing milk. Don't give up. The more you pump the more you get. This picture is my production from this morning. My baby is 16 days old.

I think baby on the breast is so much more effective than a pump, try to put her on as much as possible

Mine took about 4 days to come in. Maybe try drinking the mothers milk tea? I've never tried it but some swear by it
