how many other of you lovely ladies have got an anterior placenta? I'm 25 weeks 5 days and still not…

I had the same trouble I first felt movements in the bath, however it was very fast round to my side and seemed to stay that way throughout my pregnancy @chloedwards97 xx

Yeah, it's normally right at the bottom of my belly on the right hand side, but I have to sit still for ages! i feel as if I'm missing out on so much 😢 xxxx @shannon391

believe the little kicks you feel won't come close to when your holding them in your arms I had the same and now think I was giving myself such a hard time over it, @chloedwards97 xx

ive got an anterior placenta. its on the left so i tend to feel more movements on the right. they were very light until around 24 weeks but are now much stronger and in a pretty predictable pattern. im 37+1 x

I know, I'll just have to keep thinking that! @shannon391 and ah really, I'm hoping I'll be able to feel bigger and stronger kicks soon! @karenb1601 xx

I'm not sure where the placenta is for my baby 😞 But I'm really hoping I to feel movements soon 😖

how far along are you chick? have you been for any scans? if not they will tell you about your placenta when you go for a scan xx @miicat

@chloedwards97 Ive been to 2 scans they didn't tell me anything or maybe I just don't know how they call it here so I missed it haha 😅 I'm gonna try and find the scan papers. I'll be 16 weeks in 2 days!

I have an AP too, but started feeling things around 18 weeks on and off, by about 25 weeks baby was really active and felt a lot. Its settled into a pattern now, have had a few episodes of reduced movements though, so have been in and out of hospital for monitoring, very stressful! I'm now 32+6 and see and feel movements a fair bit, mostly up high, as baby is now head down x

I'm 25weeks today and have a anterior placenta. I do feel bubs kicking and moving, especially if I have a cold drink ha or if he kicks my bladder 🙈 but I find some days if he's moved in a certain position I can't feel him as much so I lay on my left side which I find helps me feel him a lot better xx

@miicat, you could always give them a ring and ask them, if they didn't mention it maybe everything is OK?? @ssumner ahhhhh I can't wait till I can feel everything properly! I can't imagine how stressful and worrying it is always being in and out of hospital, glad everything is ok! xxx

Try looking at your scan notes @miicat, they never told me I had an anterior placenta either, I only know coz I looked through my notes again xx

@miicat, I was told at my 20 week scan where my placenta is :) so could be they've not said yet!

@chloedwards97 yeah has been tough, but all is okay at the mo! currently sat here watching baby wiggling lol, its funny seeing my tummy move

they told me at my 20 week scan too, haha awww sounds lovely I'm watching one born every minute lol! xxxx

I've got my placenta in front of baby so I didn't really start feeling the big movements till at least 28 weeks and tbh they don't really tell u because it's not serious/dangerous

Lol oh trust me he does have he's lazy days! I was talking to midwife the other day and she said some women with anterior placenta still haven't felt a thing at all yet, so we're lucky really. You watch you'll start to get some nice strong kicks a lot more soon :) xx

I have an anterior placenta and baby has been transverse thought pregnancy. I can see and feel her movements generally most of the time. Been in for reduced movement at 28 weeks and she was fine. got herself comfy up in my ribs. always best to get checked though xx

Yeah mines infront of him.. they did tell me though, because otherwise I suppose people will worry as to why they haven't felt the baby move @leanne2016

Yeah it's really annoying thoe but as long as u know than its not much to worry about and they don't really tell u to monitor movements till your 27 weeks anyway x

I had an anterior placenta in my first pregnancy and didn't feel my son at all. from about 33 weeks I I felt his feet stuck in my ribs but never felt him moving or kicking

Yeah i didn't mind at all coz I thought the idea of something moving inside me was freaky but after my second baby I was gutted that I had missed all that with my first. It made me feel pregnant rather than just fat haha xx

@ssumner @t-x-87 Yeah I'm pretty sure it said where the placenta is in my first ultrasound paper but I lost it 😢 Well, I'll be going to my next scan when I'm 21 weeks, let's hope I'll feel movements by then 😶

Ah right, ya still got plenty of time to start feeling movements I didn't start to feel them until I was 16weeks and even then their only little, I'm sure you'll start to feel ya bub soon :) @miicat they well check to see where ya placenta is again at ya 20 week scan anyways :) xx

@chloedwards97, I have! I am the same as @tuftyturtle was, I can feel him in my ribs but unless he boots me any lower I don't notice it xx
