I had my son at 34 weeks and he was 7lbs 15oz and we only stayed the 2 days required. He didn't go in the nicu, or have any health issues. He did have jaundice but that's expected.

^like previously stated, everyone is different. My mom had my older brother at 35 1/2 weeks and he was 5lbs 2oz and went home the next day. She had my younger brother at 42 weeks and a little over 9lbs and he had issues with his lungs and had to stay in the NICU for almost a month. It just depends on baby's development! Every pregnancy and every baby is different!

Every situation is different!!!! Mine was 35 weeks we were in nicu for 15 days my friend had at almost 35 weeks they were home in four days!!! All babies and births and their general health are different

My sister in law had my nephew at 35 weeks 2 days. He was born on Tuesday, they both left Friday. He was small (4lbs 12oz) and had some issues regulating his body temperature, but he was cleared to go.

oh ok I'm just scared I may have mine early and if I do I cant go home without my baby I refuse too I'd be to depressed but I'm 35 now doc told me to hold off till 37 at least

I had my baby at 34 weeks, and she was at the hospital for 20 days they like to keep them to close to their due date.

They'll definitely be in there for a week or longer. They still have fundamental growing to do.
