Had my 39 week appointment today. My ob is on vacation, so I saw someone new..she was alright. I've already had two cervical checks and when she did it it hurt way worse and she said there maybe some spotting, which my regular ob would say too but never did spot, but I got up and low and behold blood on the pad I was sitting on..ugh. I miss my ob..she was gentle and nice. Anyways im 70% thinned and 1cm dilated.

Wouldn't she have told me? My other checks always hurt but this one more so and I bled. Never bled before. @kmally
Yeah sounds like she did a sweep of it was painful/discharge.
Nope, I don't think so. Just a cervical check, went to the bathroom when I got home and there was a bunch of little bits of tissue or something. I'm kind of pissed..but who knows maybe her being so rough will speed things up. @kmally

So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
She should have told you, but some practitioners will just do it. Which is wrong, but I've heard it happen quite often.
