not a good day :( after my 4 hour appointment im officially high risk for pre term labor, I have an incompetent and short cervix, my cervix is 2.1cm and if it gets down to 2cm I have to get a colage stitch, and I am officially on bed rest for the rest of my pregnancy 😭 I have no idea what we're gonna do! There is absolutely no way we can live and support our life off of just my husband's income. So lost right now 😢 The goal is to get the babies to 34 weeks... such a mixture of emotions now

Prayers Hun! My cousin had to have her cervix sown (if I spelled it right) shut because hers kept opening. She has 2 beautiful daughters now. You got this!

Don't worry mama I had the same issue I got my cerclage at 21 weeks and this Saturday I'll be 36 weeks . Just take it easy and have faith . If you wanna talk more I'm always willing to talk .

@pbandjones, i Heard u..my cousin had the same problem and let me tell u it's a high risk..she didn't have a good luck because she didn't take care of herself..but...you got this! Rest a lot and try to be in bed most of the time..good luck!

Big hugs hon. And don't feel too badly -it's really common with multiples. My friend from college had her cerclage done around 23 wks I think for her twins, and I think they made it to 36-37 weeks? Healthy 4 year olds now 😆

Oh and like someone else said, ask your HR department about short term and long term disability. That would pay a % of your normal pay for a certain amount of weeks.

its scary because of them being twins but im glad to have good doctors. My job doesnt have an Hr or anything since I work for a person in his office and my job doesn't include benefits. Do any of you know if disability is still possible? like through the state?
