@elias_mommy1009, If you really don't want to be induced just tell your dr that. You are in charge, momma. Your body will do its job and baby will drop in due time. :)

i would ask if they could try that first, i don't see why they wouldn't. but there are things you can do to help engage her into your pelvis. if you have a exercise ball try doing circle motions with your hips on it or slightly leaning forward as you sit on it. you could also try squats, as well as some dancing movement that involves moving your hips side to side or in a circular motion. I was worried my baby wasn't engaged so i started to do these recently and they seem to help.

Oh okay gotcha thank you. The doctor thinks I'm going to have to be induced already because of how high she still is but I really want to try to go into labor on my own and figured if I asked to do that maybe it would help @temp

Normally they mention it, but you could talk to them about when/if they might do it. My midwife asked me if i wanted mine stripped and i told her yes, but i was already 40&4 when she asked.
