I'm super pissed!!!! My doctor didn't do a damn thing except tell me I'm pregnant after it has already been confirmed. I waited a fucking hour to be told that. I go back in two weeks for an ultrasound.

@kingdamari, that's why I'm mad. they didn't do any of that. and i know that they were supposed to.
@hermommy, i was last time and nothing has changed since then. and im not switching.
no Mam if you 8 wks for the first visit they supposed to talk to you about ur history and farthers history any previous kids or miscarriages draw blood take urin check b/p and weight a pap smear as well also prescribe you prenatals
at least they aren't making u wait 4 weeks ! there wouldn't really be much they could anyways right now I would think

They shouldn't. I'm high risk. We can't afford for them to not do a single thing.
then call and complain or switch doctors, I don't know what to say maybe they are doing things differently with this one.
@hermommy, umm no it isn't. This is my second pregnancy. I know that they do more than the first appointment. They at least check for a heartbeat but didn't l.
some do that. i didnt know i was pregnant going in so she gave me a ultrasound the same day. then i had to wait another 4 weeks for a ultrasound it was sad kus i didnt know and was alone on the first one
