Hello can anyone help, went midwife today and got really high BP anybody else's high? Got to go back in 2 weeks for a BP check. I'm 15 weeks today I'm getting worried xxx

I had the same at that stage but it went down after a while not to worry as long as no protein in urine but I did have high bp if u used to be a smoker that may be the reason x

Has it always been high? Cutting out salt from your diet can reduce it. As salt is what causes you to have high blood pressure. Blood pressure increasing abit during pregnancy is normal. But anything over 120/80 is considered high. High blood pressure can also be linked with preeclampsia. X

ah okay, no protein in urine at 16week app but was at my booking app. I don't smoke either. Just getting worried cause midwife told me I'm just on borderline x

@winterbaby95 no don't put salt on any foods, few rare occasions I have had McDonald's lol. Yeah it was 140/90 today on borderline midwife said so got check up in 2 weeks time. I keep thinking pre eclampsia due to having high bmi aswell x
