Pregnancy with Nipple piercings, did they survive all 9 months? lol and Is it safe to breast feed if you remove them? or…

@mother.of.angels, I took mine out when i was about 5 months along, Ive been breastfeeding now shes 7 months.. I just figure ill get them pierced again when I'm finished... Too much of a pain in the ass to keep taking them out to breast feed and with the bendables i was afraid of choking.

I had to take mine out bc I felt them getting irritated as my boobs grew....

I would take them out. I took mine out about halfway through my pregnancy, not this one, and I'm glad I did. When you breastfeeding you will experience a "let down" your milk is letting down and the milk ducts are opening to allow the flow. A let down is a weird tingly sensation that last about 30 seconds. If you have a let down with nipple rings in your nipples may swell around the jewelry making it not only painful but difficult to remove. I did a bunch of research and decided to just take them out ahead of time.

Pregnancy though I kept them in, at the end I started leaking and they itched really bad so it was annoying . @mother.of.angels

I have bars also and am definitely taking them out when it comes time to feed! @countrymommy0916

i still have mine in no problem i just plan to take them ouy after i have the baby to breast feed

Take them out if breastfeeding metal isn't good for the baby and I personally have bars not hoops and I don't trust the ball on the bars to not come loose and my child happen to swallow it. You'll do what you know is best for baby ! Good luck !

my ob said I could keep mine in. I'd just have to take them out each time I feed

I took mine out and milk comes from the sides of them. The metal is not good for baby to suck on if u plan to breast feed
