Tips for getting pregnant faster after stopping the pill?

I fell pregnant 3 months after stopping the pill

I was off the pull for 3 years before getting pregnant with my first baby. I was off the pill for 5 or 6 months with my second baby. my friend conceived first month with her first. first month with her second but miscarried and has been trying again for almost a year. It really is just luck unfortunately. The time frame to get pregnant in each month is small. It amazes me that so many people fall pregnant by mistake !

awwwwe well it may just be the pill.... they never tell u all these things before they give us all these pills and injections ect which is what I dislike

@leanne2016, I'm already at a gym have been for 2 years and I eat healthy and few unhealthy foods, drink plenty of water because of PKD, thanks

Or if your that worried do what I done I got my dr to put me threw for a scan to see if there's anything proventing it

maybe try and change some of your lifestyle habits if u have any bad ones I started the gym and excersie more I had the same problem even of we are not big we still have to try to be a bit healthy... maybe it's just coz of the pill everyone is different it took me 3 years but maybe if I changed my life style 2 years ago it probably wouldn't of been so long..... but u need to make sure your ovulating as that's the only way to become pregnant... make sure your taking the tests when your supposed to even if u have to take 4 a month

@leanne2016, no they've all come back negative and a few came back invalid

@winterbaby95, I've been off it since 17th March, me and my partner have ben having sex every 2 days cycle is usually 21 days xx

So your not getting any positives on the tests for ovulation?

@leanne2016, I've done ovulation tests for nearly 2 months now and nothing :/

Start taking folic acid :) Apparently that can help x

@joycebranco.xo How long have you been off it? They say to have sex every 2 days..from the end of your period to increase chances. Because the egg sticks around for 12-24 hours at most then dies :) But sperm can hang around for up to 7 days in good conditions( in the fertile period) How long are your cycles? You generally ovulate midcycle xx

I always used the ovulation tests they are really good from when it's a positive I keeped having sex every day for 5 days

@winterbaby95, I've had my period when I stopped the pill and I'm on right now, been trying since I came off the pill and nothing yet. I was on the 3 weeks taking and then stopping for a week pill xx

I got pregnant 3 weeks after stopping the pill :) With the pill your periods should come back straight away. I still had my periods while on the pill so maybe that had something to do with it xx
