Little do they know its very serious. My doctor has warned me it affects the baby big time. :( I hope things get better.

post partum depression is a very serious illness, have your doctor or the babies pedi talk to him. PPD also can last years! i saw a news story about a mom that was so mentally ill and suffered from severe PPD that she pushed her son on a park swing for 2 days straight which killed the boy from starvation and temperature dropping.

Girl postpartum depression is so real. When I told my boyfriend he thought I was just faking it and that it would just "go away". I've been dealing with it for 7 months now and it's absolute hell, if you're feeling like that talk to your doctor.
