The only time Stella sleeps is in here k-tan carrier or co sleeping at night. 😟 hopefully she'll grow out of this!!
@myliltadpole1116, I need to pick up more interesting toys!! I only have a couple rattles and stuffed animals. I try having her play and she seems not interested at all!
@mamabee, Lucas does too. But that's why I always talk to him when I'm out of view and I push him to play by himself. I started doing that around 3-5 wks old . You are all she knows but if you introduce her to things that interest her starting with just a few minutes at a time it may help her engage rather than freak out . Independence is a good thing but definitely enjoy the time u have with her now:) Lucas is already showing signs that he wants to go to others and play without me. Go with your instincts mama :) they won't let u down.
@santistevanmommie, very true!! 😉 my house is going to be wreck by then!!
Live it up while you can because before you know it she won't want you to hold her for want to walk around
@myliltadpole1116, I worry she has anxiety issues😟 I sure hope she grows out of it and it doesn't become a routine!
that's what her daddy says! Lol. @santistevanmommie
@mamabee, I understand. Sorry,I didn't look at ur page to see how old ur daughter is. It's probably part of her growth spurt and it does get better. I would rock Lucas for at least an hour and a half before gently and carefully putting him into his bassinet. If not twice over.I'm not talking about letting them cry for an hour... 5 minutes of crying even in ur arms is gonna happen as ur baby grows. As long as u don't just leave them to scream. You'll learn the different cries and know when it's appropiate. By putting him down and singing to him and rubbing his tummy he realized he had mommy right there. And you learn what works best for you both. Everyone's different.
@myliltadpole1116, she's only 4 weeks old. She seriously has panic attacks of i let her cry especially in the car.
Before you try sleep training or crying it out do research on the cry it out method. Also she very well might she's still little. Look at it this way, for 9 months she was snuggled up inside of you hearing you talk and hearing your heartbeat every moment of the day. This is new to her she's still getting used to being outside of the womb. She just needs to hear your heartbeat.
You may have to just let her cry for a few minutes and keep talking to her and patting her at first. Lucas became the same way. They only know what we teach them. He now sleeps by himself in his crib every night and I don't even have to sing to him anymore.

Babygirl knocked out sleep
Co sleeping...yay or nay? Lately Molly hasn't want to sleep in her crib and sleep with us. Which is fine but we do want her to sleep in her crib
shut the door?
does anyone shut their child's door while they sleep? (if they sleep in their own room)
It takes time. They don't really start playing for a couple more weeks but at least get her comfortable around them . U don't need anything fancy yet lol. Just different colors and shapes. I started by playing with them for him. And talking like they were real and etc. lol it took a week for him to take any interest in his piano gym playmat but once he got into it I could do the dishes and drink a glass of water before he would be ready to have mommy again lol. Your baby girl just knows how precious your time is lol , she wants all of it😂@mamabee
