Curious to find out other ladies pregnancy/birth stories..

We found out that we were having a little girl at 16 weeks. My due date was 10/02/2016.. I went into labour on the 11th and she arrived on 13/02/2016. I used gas and air and had an epidural but that didn't work so I still felt everything. Natural Vaginal birth :) my little lady was born at 2:23am and I was discharged at 5pm that same day on the 13th xx

My waters broke 2 days after my due date. I went to hospital that evening and was kept in to start induced as I was also in for reduced movements. They started my induction at lunchtime on the Sunday with the gel and tablet nothing was happening. That evening they broke my waters, started the hormone drip and put me on antibiotics. At 6am on the Monday I was given an epidural as they thought I was going to have to have a c-section as I wasn't dilating at all. By 12pm on the Monday I needed to push but wasn't checked until 2pm. I was told I wasn't aloud to start pushing for another hour. I started pushing at 3 and my daughter arrived 55minutes later. I was kept in over night and we were both discharged on the Tuesday evening xx

I was in slow labour for a week. When I went into full blown labour. A week passed my dd I then got into the birthing pool and my water went, and then we realised he had pooed inside me so then got put into the delivery suit. After a hour and half of pushing he was born 6:00pm on 7/3/16 weighing 9lb 6 and pushed him out with no pain relief.

@abbylouise95, she was haha aw I didn't like that bit at all 😂 felt really self conscious about it but once it started proper i didn't really have time for that lol x

I was the same! well my labour started Monday and I gave birth Thursday, wasn't full on labour until 4am Thursday though. my other half has been scarred by it lol, he seen me go through labour and the 3 hours they took trying to site an epidural, previous bad health was to do with my spine and they found it so difficult getting the epidural in, he actually had to leave the room he was so upset😢 and then in the csection when Lewis was born the midwife told him to look because he was there and let's just say he's seen my insides now😷😂 poor guy😂 all worth it in the end xxx

@mummygoblin, she was ready to meet her mummy! My waters had to be broken too x

I was due on the 29th Dec and she came on the 20th. I was in pain for about half a day and my waters just wouldn't break, eventually they had to be popped and she was here within 11 mins, I had to tell them she was coming now and her head was half way out. she looked and sure enough there she was haha. best early Xmas gift ever <3

@katieleanne1x, big boy! I think the boys are the cheekiest lol CJ didn't want to budge either then came out like superman with he's arm alongside he's head 😂 xx

I'm the same it hasn't put me off at all lol I was in labour for 2 days started off in the birthing pool but then because I wasn't dialating was taken down to the delivery suite and told I could have to have a c section luckily the drip sped things along and by the time they done the next check I was fully dialated (thank god) my partner was horrified by the experience 😂 he just sat there not knowing what to do bless him xx

@hbbn2, aww Hun sounds like you had a bad time, all worth it in the end though! I was also in with CJ for 5 days as we both caught an infection. He had to go to NICU for antibiotics twice daily x

Michael was due on the 7th november but showed no signs of budging! Was booked in to be induced on friday the 13th. Was told to ring that morning but he had other plans and labour started at 5am. Didnt really have a plan just wanted to kinda go with the flow! That didnt really happen though! Lol ... Had pethadine injections and then gas and air, got to the pushing stage and he was coming down and then going back up when the contractions stopped, so they told me i was going to theatre for forceps delivery. That didnt work either so ended up with a c-section and a 10lbs 5oz chunk born at 5.29pm friday 13th november 2015!

Lewis was due 1st of February 2016 but didn't arrive until 11th of February, weighing 8lb 1oz😊 I had a very basic birth plan, just stating that I'd like all the pain relief if I wanted it/needed it etc, I wanted a water birth to start out with but because of previous bad health I wasn't allowed as I need to have a consultant led birth. ended up having all the pain relief due to having a painful back to back labour😩😂 and then a spinal for an emergency csection because my pelvis was too narrow for the position of Lewis's head. I had a very long and eventful labour, still hasn't put me off though lol. xx

My first I went into labour at 2am on his due date, I was in labour for 5 days and had gas and air, pretty much all painkillers that were offered, and finally an epidural which was followed by an emergency caesarean at 10:05am on the 5th day. My son was born weighing 7lb 15oz and was 50cm long. He was taken down to NICU two hours after he was born because of a respiratory infection. I was discharged after 5 days, he was discharged after 7 x
