I'm 34+6 and my baby girl is still breech and has been from around 24 weeks, is she still in time to turn or do you think this is the position she'll choose to stay in? want to prepare myself for the reality of having a section after having my natural birth planned so long... Xx
@sabzy, that's defo gave me something to think about I have an appt with her tomorrow so I'm gonna say to her! thanks so much xx
@bruna98x nothing worse than being uncomfortable you should tell her look I'm sorry but I feel uncomfortable and the way you feel xx
yes I've thought about that because I do feel as if she looks down on me and often speaks to me as if I have no idea about anything lol but as I said it could be me being paranoid😳 but I would be far too uncomfortable to ask her for a different midwife as well lol I only have 5 weeks left so hoping it won't be too much longer xx
OMG hun if you don't feel comfortable with your midwife change her she should be like a friend 2 you and you should be able 2 feel you can ask her anything...write everything down on a piece paper you want asking and if she don't answer them ask 2 speak 2 another midwife xx
@sabzy, personally I find my midwife so hard to talk to, I'm probably so paranoid but because I'm only 18 and she's a lot older I feel as if she looks down on me a lot lol😳, so I avoid asking her too much but I definitely want to bring up the idea of a natural birth, and more importantly ask why she has booked me for a section without giving other options a second thought... Xx
@bruna98x yes you can have natural it's just more painful...if you don't want a c section mention it 2 her as most midwifes don't have kids and have no idea lol...xx
@sabzy, I had heard of other mummies having a natural vaginal birth with a breech baby although my midwife hasn't even suggested it she went straight to the section idea but I suppose she knows best so I thought maybe better not questioning her lol xx
I haven't got any words 2 comfort you as I had all mine natural and midwife knows a c sec is the very last option xx
@mrsmowmow, yes I just noticed too was going to mention it!! not long for us now, exciting stuff🙈xx
@sabzy, guilty🙈🙈 and yes I know me too!! I've had a natural birth planned in my head since I first found out I was pregnant now the odds of me having a section are so high I just don't know how to prepare myself😂xx
@bruna98x yes agree you've made her 2 comfy lol...Shell be worth it...my worst fear is having a c sec xx
@mrsmowmow, so nothing for me to worry about🙈 I definitely will! thank you xx
@sabzy, I definitely do but I've been told by midwife she seems to be really comfortable in the position she is so its just a waiting game now I guess😊xx
@mrsmowmow, is that just a normal scan or is it a special type of scan? I have a scan booked for 36 weeks exactly and I was wondering what would be done at it😳x
@bruna98x, oh gosh! I hope you manage to turn her you still have time she may just do it by herself x
ohh you have one stubborn little madam..don't get 2 worked up mist of the they turn last min xx
@lollypops, I feel like I've tried everything, I tried doing that for about 15 minutes or so and didn't work, although I'll try for longer and see how it goes, thank you x
@mich77, yes I have and I tried quite a few exercises from there and nothing has worked, I suppose I may just wait🙄xx
@sabzy, I had been using the gym ball up until around 32 weeks and my scans showed that she hadn't moved around in the slightest so I gave up on the idea😐xx
There are loads of methods on Google to turn her one of them is going into your hands and feet and walking round like that x
I'm sure they can still turn up.until.you go into labour @bruna98x
have you looked on the internet on spinning babies? xx
@sabzy, will do thanks again😊xx
