I'm pro choice and considered having an abortion. having a baby just to put her in the system and hope for the best wasn't an option for me. it was either have her or kill her. if my father wasnt murdered 4 month's before I found out I was pregnant I probably wouldn't be having a baby right now. he's the only reason why I honestly kept her

I just wish everyone would look at all of the choices they have or reevaluate if they could keep the baby.. Some people go straight to abortion. I'm glad you decided to keep your baby! Babies are truly blessings

@rennysmommy, yes this is a touchy situation buuuuut each person's situation is different... there are situations when it is the right choice even IF YOU don't believe in it. Babies are a true blessing but if you have to look at your child and think about the time your father raped you then- no you shouldn't be forced by your beliefs to keep the child. If you are a single mother of three children,working your ass off to provide for them the best you can... were responsible and took the precautions for not having another baby (birthcontrol) you still end up pregnant, it is unfair for you and your other children to have to struggle EVEN MORE because "god" has "blessed" you... sorry but this is a silly post

I totally agree with you. Adoption is the most selfless and amazing thing any woman could do. Every child deserves a chance and there are so many women who are just waiting for a selfless woman to make their family whole and answer their prayers.
