@lizzib00, they could ban them from using the facilities. which would be even better. @kelseys I usually take my girls into the restroom and stand in the stall with them. But this still irritates me

Yes! I've been saying this since this whole debate came about! People never paid attention to the fact transgender people were ALREADY using the bathroom they identify with! Now all of a sudden they wanna make a huge deal out of nothing!

I don't have a problem with it, I just think it's going overboard. Everyone is saying they've been using the restroom with us for years so why would the new law bother us? Well if they've been doing it for years why is there a need for the new law?? I have a problem with high schools now having the locker rooms gender neutral and we can no longer say boy or girl. My problem with that is can you reallllly trust teenagers to use the same facilities? I don't think so! I understand were progressing but I don't think it's fair to change everyone's lifestyles to benefit someone else's. I'd never force my opinion on someone else's kids and I'm not all that thrilled for the school system my children are going to grow up in.

You are not alone. Funny thing is it's "the Christian thing" to be against something that's already been happening. Just like perverts have been ignoring the signs forever now. 😒 I also hate that primarily, the haters are worried about women and daughters. ?! The only reason this happened was because someone wanted to ban what was already happening, so I'm at a loss as how to reason with them.

@cubanese, yeah because he hasn't finished transitioning. He *wants* to use the men's room, and the NC law said he had to go in the women's room.

its just something the government is using to distract us from more serious things.

@cubanese, I've seen her on TV as well she's been using the men's restroom with still having a vagina. I remember watching her interview on TV and she said none of the men in the restroom could even tell she's transgender or still have a vagina. She identifies as a man and uses the men's restroom. that's what people don't realize

well you can't really deny someone the right to use the restroom because of their gender or sex offender. I don't agree with the whole trans thing or being gay in general but its not my body, not my life, and they really aren't affecting me or my children. I go to the bathroom with my kids, so I know I have nothing to worry about. and as for the whole sex offender having to state that they are that is going to far. not all sex offenders are registered because of touching children/rape. my husband unfortunately has to register because a teenager girl was messing around with older men and lied about her age, even had sexual pictures online(before we were married), and they also have to take lie detector tests to prove that they don't like children, and still have to register for everyone to see. Everyone sees a sex offender as someone who likes children but that's not always the case, online it already says what age group and charge so that other people know. can you imagine having an ID that says, you have an STD, you've been arrested, you stole, you have a criminal record,ect? Never, because everyone has their own personal lives and not everything is everyone's business. Although, I think the ones that have done something to children should actually have an ID or something but everyone sees it as, if your a sex offender then that's it, and you must've touch a child.

@mommagotbump16, I completely agree with you. And everyone is saying it goes against the bible. A man even shared the part that it goes against yet what he failed to share is that it also says getting tattoos was against the bible. But the government isn't making a deal about that. They're picking and choosing what to use to distract us. @sierranichols I agree. There is a flaw with the government that they are trying to distract the nation while they cover up huge errors

@cubanese, that's been happening way before this unfortunately. The only reason this is such a fear is because of the media. The most likely place for our kids to be assaulted or molested is at home, by a family member or friend. Does that mean we shouldn't protect them everywhere? Of course not! But so far, no one claiming to be transgender (real or not) has attacked anyone in a bathroom.

I think they should have their own bathroom. or men women family and all.

@trevae, some stores already had that, the sign says Family and/or Unisex, I know Target has it.
