Hey mamas! I need help, how can i try to keep my newborn awake during the day? I think he has his sleeping schedule all switched up hes wide awake during the night and sleeps all day during daylight lol or is he still too little? Hes only 4 days old.
Whenever he is awake, put him in front of a bright window. Use a cool cloth to wake him up and try to stimulate him to keep him awake. I usually sit my son on his bottom and hold him up and talk to him to try and keep him stimulated. I have been doing that since he was born & it has worked fairly well for us :)
@iveraj2016, hunny that is all normal n we have all been thru it. It does get better thoo jst so u know and try to keep baby in light and then when they nap or u put them down to sleep try to keep the room dim . It helped us alot too

My daughter was the same way till about maybe 6-8wks old n she changed her sleeping schedule because i started a bedtime routine. If u want more info msg me hun
He will get better at it my baby is 2 months old and at first he would always wake up at exactly 10pm go to sleep between 12:30-1 am and wake up every hour till about 5 weeks old and now its the opposite he goes to sleep by 9-10 pm and wakes up every 2-3 hours just to eat. I also changed his bath time and it helps a lot, its between 7-8 pm and it used to be at noon
