I'm taking votes, what do you think would be a better pet to adopt for our Melody? We have been house sitting for friends and they have 3 dogs and a cat, she LOVES chasing them around and playing with them, she laughs and has a blast! Pros anr cons of each pet? I want a cat cuz they are easier for me to take care of in our lil apartment, but at the same time I want a dog because they generally play more haha....thoughts mamas?

Ive never had a dog but cats yes, i can tell you they are not that playful but they are so lovable!!!! I think dogs are more playful lol. In the future ill be getting both pets for my LO lol @hellosweetie

I've had both growing up, I LOVE cats and wanna get one! Plus they don't need to be walked in this horrible heat, they cuddle and hold still lol....only issue I think is we have to keep Melody away from the litter box, but if we get a baby gate or something we could do that lol @jgarciamua

Or u can just train the kitty to do its business outside 🙄 lol my mom has a cat like that but i didnt train him he just did it himself 😅

@jgarciamua, I would but it's not safe to have an ourdoor cat in our apartment complex, even if it's just for that I wouldn't trust it....too many kids running around, cars close by our place, we're an upstairs apartment so there's that too....maybe we could figure out how to put the litter box on the balcony? We'd have to make sure it couldn't jump down....I still want a cat more regardless though lol
