Well at least for me lol that was 2 years ago when I had my son I was super scared too thinking about when I go into labor and getting IV. But then I realized IV wasn't that bad. But labor pain is no joke though i got through 6 cm then finally got the epidural. Lol

Mines was very painful and left a huge bruise. I was bending the area it was inserted when I was in labor. Really there's no reason for it and I'm having an at home birth this time and my doula clearly won't be doing one.

I'd be more scared of the catheter... IV is nothing, don't worry! Make sure you get your epidural before they catheter you 👍🏻 If your doing the epidural.
