Had an OB appointment today and he said that McKenna's head is super low but I haven't started dilating yet. How long did it take after your baby moved low to start dilating ? or what happened after you dropped?

Supposedly I'm at 3cm but the baby is high still. So idk lol.

I've dropped and since my 36 week apt I've been sitting at... Almost 1cm dialated. My 37 week apt there was no change in dilation but he said her head is lower.... It's confusing for me too.
