Is it normal for the umbilical cord stump to smell? I accidentally got it wet sponge bathing my baby and now it has a bad smell to it. Has anyone experienced this? If so, what to do? It really has me worried

@caseyebell, when it's about to fall off, it will smell the worst. my daughter's bought made me sick every time I took her onsie off. it worried me as well so I asked her doctor. he said it's perfectly normal because "after all it is rotting flesh" lol
has anybody else had or has weird cravings.? mine is eveything that has to do with smelling detergent , caress soap and gain dryer sheets 😔 cannot go a day without smelling one of them
Just laying here on the sofa watching tv... not done anything this morning so far & I swear it smells like someone has just sprayed polish or air freshener or something it’s so so strong and no one or nothing has been done I’m the only one home 🤦🏻 ♀ 😂 but this smell i can smell from no where is giving me cleaning cravings like I’m gonna go bleach the bathrooms now 🤦🏻 ♀ 🤦🏻 ♀ 🤦🏻 ♀ 🤦🏻 ♀ wtf is this smell I don’t even have cleaning products that smell like this it’s like lavender and polish 😂😂😂.... omg I’m baffled !!!!
