Is anyone else a recovering addict and nervous about the pain medication given during birth ? If I do end up having a c section I plan on not taking any pain meds home with me, but I'm still worried about the meds they give while in the hospital... I will try my hardest to give a natural birth with no meds !!!!

I had a c section and refused any pain meds besides Motrin. Baby was with me the whole time and I don't see how I was supposed to take care of a newborn and be drugged up on percocets, I've taken them before for my wisdom teeth and I hated the feeling. I also had a normal birth with my first. The epidural is amazing. Doesn't make you feel any type of way besides not feeling contractions.
I know I will be able to stay strong especially when my little is here! This was truly a miracle❤️💙 thank you so much 💕💕💕 @arivera64
