Is it better to use cotton wool and water first off with baby or water wipes?

I've just seen some huggies ones on Amazon! 18 packs 1008 wipes for £12, 99% water xx

They should be just fine, I've never heard of those I didn't know Johnson's made their own too. As long as there's no chemicals in they should be fine xx

you can get them from boots, mothercare, kiddicare but I have been stocking up on boxes of 12 packs from eBay because there's some good deals on there too hun xx

I used them on my son for 2 years lol. With my daughter I used them for 8 weeks. I wouldn't have continued to use them forever but I discovered boots own brand (the pink packet) are 98% water and 85p a pack or pack of 4 for £2.50 !and always on 3 for 2. so I can compromise that 2 % haha xx

water wipes 100% I used them for the first 6 weeks they're brilliant!! Definitely take a packet in your hospital bag because you don't want to be getting up to find the toilet for water and a bowel when you've just had a baby.. midwives are useless so they won't help you either haha xx

No problem hun, yh I just got the same emil lol...I've started stocking up and buying a box of 12 packs from eBay as that's where I've seen the best prices tbh as they're quite expensive... A friend of mine used them for the first few weeks and another friend of mine used them for the first 6 months, I think it depends on your preference really. I think I will try to use them all the way through as both of my girls suffered with nappy rash and I found it very hard to get rid of and at times it would get very bad. As I'm having another girl I think the purer the product the better personally, I tried all the sensitive ones previously as well as the normal ones and I couldn't find anything that agreed with their skin so found myself using cotton wool and water a lot so this time I think these will be perfect to use all the way through til potty training perhaps...I guess I'll have to see xx

I'm gonna be using water wipes, I picked up a pack the other week, think their still on offer in boots, mate had said their really good. I gotta admit I ended up using them myself 🙈 their are so cooling! Gonna be packing a pack in my hospital bag ha and stocking up loads for bubs x

I'm going with the water wipes as well...I agree that cotton wool and warm water can be quite time consuming particularly when you're out and about or if you're in bed etc. I found them to be much easier and they're a really great product to use. x

I would say water wipes because they are just water and they're so much easier. washing new baby poos off with a little bit of cotton is effort 😂 so is getting a bowl of warm water etc. but I just like to make my life as easy as possible lol x
