When did all you ladies start a routine with your little ones? I'm trying so hard but he's going through a growth spurt…

I would say 3 weeks is early. Try 3/4 months

I can imagine how u feel, I'm in a flat so only next door when he sleeps but dreading when he has to go in his own room at night don't think I'll ever be ready haha😩😩 don't feel bad about it we all need to start somewhere!! just keep doing what ur doing and the routine will come it just takes a bit of time hun xxx

@emmaclark, yeah, in the morning I'm so squeaky and playful, I'm the same during the day, but at night it's all quite and all the lights are out! He gets his last bottle in the dark getting his leg tickled and he falls asleep! I've also just put him to sleep in his crib upstairs while I stay down stairs with the monitor and I hate it! He's never slept alone😩 I feel bloody terrible, but he hasn't been sleeping in his crib so I'm having to get him used to it! Xx

I just let Lewis work out for himself, the only thing I established from the beginning was day and night. first thing in the morning I will always say good morning to him in the cheeriest voice possible lol and we play during the day etc, and at night I talk quietly and keep lights low. I give him his bottle before bed in the dark with just a night light in our bedroom and 9/10 times he'll go straight to sleep. he used to wake at 4am for a bottle then down till 8 but now he will sleep from around 10 till 8-9. every other night we give him a bath too! during the day he will take a few short naps in between bottles so I run around mad trying to shower and clean the house hahaha! xx

My wee girl put herself into a routine too @sophgreenx she used to go 3 hourly during the day and take 4oz. She goes longer now she's on solids but still only takes about 4oz. Every baby is different

Let him do as he wants and his routine will sort itself, Seth used to sleep all the time and now he sleeps through the night and take 2 naps in the day the longest lasting 2 hours, obviously every baby is different but I didn't put Seth into one he did it himself x

@mrsripper, I suppose they are! Well were at 3 hours since his last feed!!!!! That's a record for today!! 😂x

I wish my Lil man would take more and go longer but nope he is happy with his 4 throughout the day lol @beccastirlingx I suppose bubbas are ruling the roost for now x

It's a bit early hun I have started introducing bath every night after his 7-9 pm feed and then he will sleep for 6 hours other than that my Lil man is still feeding 4oz every 4 hours if he winges before for his feed I give him a dummy to carry him till the 4 th hour and then offer him 5 oz but he only is taking 5 oz at his 3-4 am feed x @beccastirlingx in regards to timings I would just try and stretch his feeds where you can 4oz every 2 hours is a lot xx

id introduce it later. every baby is different some will get themself into a routine. im sure experts say 12 weeks xx

His growth spurt has knocked everything off and he's so crabbit come bath time because he keeps fighting sleep! Not going to give up though! Xx

I started doing one with Maya between 2-3 weeks :) Once I had come out the hospital and settled down xx
