they're only supposed to have a 10 min window not a 30 min window

i got my blood drawn && finger pricked at 6 am before the drink i finished drinking the drink at 6:20 they were suppose to come back and draw my blood at 7 , 8 && 9 .. but came at 7 forgot 8 , came at 9:30 && 10:30

when I had mine done I only had 5 mins to drink it. I started at 845 got blood taken at 945, 1045, 1145 give or take. I asked the blood tech lady if she forgot would I have to start over she said they have about 10mins the can do it in before it's to late. I would maybe see about doing it again but that's just me

they totally messed mines up but my ob said she's not going to make me do it again since it was the labs mess up @victoriaaaron12

I don't think she should count that personally but if she said it's fine I guess it's fine

I'm a lab tech and you only have a certain window of time for the test to be accurate, so you're test is most likely not accurate. they have to draw within ten minutes of your hourly time for it to be accurate

@ginnalynn, idk if I should request another test or what because my ob seems to think it's fine since I only failed my 1hr by 5points and with my daughter I passed my 1hr

I would just because having GD can be super dangerous to your baby if it's not kept under control. better safe than sorry
