I keep going back and forth over whether I should do CNA classes or go to Cosmetology School CNA…

@taiboos_mommy16, being a CNA SUCKS... I'm a RN now but everyone has to start out by being a CNA... you are the grunt and people treat you like crap...

I know I eventually want to go back to school for LVN or Rn but I want to wait till my daughters a Lil older what's the pay like and hrs a week as CNA

@taiboos_mommy16, I would say cna because.. if you further your career in that setting it will really help you being a cna.. you will have really good bed side manner.. i was a cna for 3 years.. and I am now a nurse.. Ive worked with nurses who had never been a cna and they treated patients horribly no empathy at all..

If cosmetology isn't your passion don't do it unless you have the time and money to. I have my cosmetology license and I barely use it. I love doing hair but it's not my passion.

cosmetology school.. not really in demand.. cna is very high in demand.. having a baby you need stability.. plus being a cna in the acute care setting is way better.. patients are getting better.. and they are more likely able to help as oppose to chronic long term setting where they are bedridden..

cnas in california.. start off at 10.. acute care i was making 15 an hour..

Omg, you can do hair ?? I been looking for someone to do my hair that have decent prices.. Even though I just seen you say you don't know if you enjoy doing it.. Only thing I can say is, Follow your heart.. Cna I actually would say.. But that's just me.. I wish you the best boo.

exactly what I needed to hear my mom is a CNA and she said its good financially for me and my daughter and that's all I really want so we can have are own place and things because right now me and her are on the couch and sharing space with my teen bro I want better and yea hair and make up isn't my passion making money is my passion lol but Cna is something I grew up with I helped take care of my grandma growing up I think I'm just a caretaker at heart @jlove @soon2b2

Go with what's best financially and that would be CNA because finding a cosmetology job can be very hard especially if you don't have an already starting clientele or close to it

I got my CNA license and couldn't find a job as a CNA because everywhere in Arizona wants you to have at least 1-2 years of experience, which I can't get if I can't get a job.
