Does it really not matter what you eat before you go for your glucose testing? People say that if you do have GD then no…

@kaela3 I ate like an hour and a half before my test.

They never did anything about it I had really bad morning sickness through out my pregnancy

@kaela3, I was told to just eat something small before I went for the 1hour... the 3 hour I wasn't allowed to eat anything past midnight.

So I should just eat normal today and have my bowl of cereal in the morning @mama.of.3.

@kaela3, you honestly should go about your normal life eat what you normally eat...because if you do have it and it goes undiagnosed there are A LOT of risks for baby... including a miscarriage... I don't want to scare you but it's the honest truth... i have gestational and the dr put me on insulin bc my diet couldn't change it.... the Dr told me all the risks.. it's very important to get it taken care of if you have it..

I just took mine a couple of days ago and I couldn't eat anything after midnight the night before and I just took a snack and ate after the test. but I would call your doctor and ask what they want you to do

I took mine late in the afternoon I had to take it early in my pregnancy bc we have family history of diabetes and mine was really low when I just had ice tea

Yeah I always drink water @deafmama16 I feel like I'm just not gonna eat in the am cause I don't want to risk it ... Does it matter what I eat like later when I get outta work before I go to bed ? Obv I'm not gonna eat ice cream or anything lol

@kaela3, so was mine :) just bring a snack for later when you're done with the test and drinking water is good also

@kaela3 when I did mine my dr suggested I eat as I normally would. I had eggs and a slice of toast and results were great. Mine was 70.

I'm in bed before 11 so I'll be good and I'm not like starving when I wake up early so I think I'll be good to just not eat. I'll bring food for after @lost041 @hannahbbtt

I was told to fast with all of mine but apparently a lot has changed since I was last pregnant cause now Dr's r saying u can eat something light. I would say fast after 11 if u can and then just stick to water in the morning till after the test is done

If your really questioning it, I wouldn't eat anything just make sure you bring water.

I had a donut and chocolate milk and I failed, and I had to do the 3 hour and I was fine.

Mines at 9 in the morning so I basically just don't eat anything in the morning if I wanna do that @deafmama16 idk what to do so many people say diff things lol.. I just wanna pass

I ate cake and ice cream before mine and it still came up in the middle

I just fast and I'm glad I did cuz I passed
