The pressure of dilation puts pressure on a vain down there and turns your butt crack purple!! Some midwives check women by this method!! Google it:)

You can check your butt crack!! It's a purple line!! Google it!!

You can also check yourself! As long as your water hasn't broken and your hands are clean. You can google how it may be too high up for you to feel but once you find it, youll know what it is
