even though I appreciate my inlaws they have taken it upon themselves to plan my baby shower for there side they have not asked my opinion I don't know anything that's happening I just feel I should be more involved even though it is her first grandchild we've only met once

My sister planned my baby shower, I knew just as much as the guest going in there, which was the theme. That was it.

when I had my shower my in laws planned it. the only way that I was allowed to help was by rewrapping the outfit that my father in law gave us so that he could brag about it to any of his friends that showed up.

look at it as a gift, really one less stress. I am receiving 2 showers one for my side - (sister is planning) and one for my husbands. I am so thankful for my MIL planning the entire thing and keep it a surprise. I would be pulling my hair out trying to help plan both right now
